It was approximately 6: 20 PM, and I was done with the office tasks. I was only left to go home now. So, I stood to my feet.

My phone at the moment was buzzing on the table, and I immediately grasped it and I peered at the screen —it was Duncan.

"Hey, buddy!" Duncan hailed into the phone.

"How have you been?" I simply asked him, but I maintained my unbending expression.

"I'm fine, I'm fucking spending the night at your place!" Duncan disclosed excitedly "Are you home now?"

"No," I tug my lips and then I made a reply to him and I said, "I'm about to leave right now!"

"Oh! Okay, call me when you get home." Duncan says into the phone.

"You can go ahead if you want to though, my wife will attend to your needs until I'm back!" I told him.

However, I hissed through my teeth when I realize how firm I had called Gabrielle my "Wife"
