Chris's POV

We went to them and aunt complimented her and she greeted my aunt politely. My aunt introduced us formally but she still did not look at me.

Stubborn girl. I will make you crave for me.

I stepped in front of her and our eyes met.

" Wow!! Looking very different today, all set to impress the moms of eligible bachelors?? " I bent and whispered to her. She glared at me. But I asked her for a dance and before she could refuse, her mom placed her hand on mine. She tried to pull my hand away but I tightened my grip. She used the excuse that she was busy with arrangements. But it didn't work.

Finally, She said she needed to go to the washroom and rushed away. I smiled and shook my head.

She was desperate to stay away from me as I knew that she was scared of me and her reaction to my every action was pointing in that direction.
