As I stood there in the dressing room, a mix of emotions flooded through me. The words he whispered, "Don't injure yourself and ruin your skin yet. You can do that after the function," echoed in my mind. His voice was luring, gentle, but there was a subtle hint of amusement dancing on his lips. It infuriated me to think that he only cared about his own reputation, not my well-being.

With a surge of anger, I forcefully pushed myself away from him, breaking free from his grip. The shock of his statement lingered, and I couldn't believe what I had just heard. I had momentarily hoped that he genuinely cared for me, but once again, he proved me wrong. His concern was merely a facade.

Gritting my teeth, I walked past him without sparing a second glance. The bitterness welled up inside me as I entered the second dressing room. Determined to protect myself, I made sure to lock the door firmly, double-checking it for good measure.
