CHAPTER 41 - Good Life
Megan's POV
As I started to hear Greg's angry snoring next to me, I started rolling my eyes. To get away from the garbled noise, I actually attempted to shift my position slightly to the side. Later on, I noticed like it was actually getting louder and crazier until I could no longer help but scoop up a pillow and thwack it right in front of his face. He seemed to recognize my unexpected intervention because he immediately stopped making some noise while still in a catatonic state. I took a deep breath, annoyed and irritated at the same time.
I had never really been to work in weeks because I have been staying at Greg's rented house. I did not even attempt notifying them, either via text message or a quick phone call.
