Chapter 37: Rescue Part: 1

Summer paced back and forth in front of the Wilson's secret hideout.  The sun outside had begun to set sending an eery red glow across the entire area, fitting given that there was a chance that blood would be spilt this evening.  It was almost like a vivid premonition of what was to come.

Reggie, Taylor, Vincent, and Theresa had needed to prepare themselves for Asher's rescue mission, leaving Summer all alone waiting.  Even though she was anxious to get Asher back, Summer just couldn't stop the feeling of foreboding that she was feeling.

Before any missions she always felt like this, it was when she questioned her mortality the most.  She knew thinking morbidly wasn't a good idea, but she just couldn't help it.  Knowing that she was rushing into danger and that she didn't know how many people were waiting for her always scared the hell out of her.
