I don't know how long, but for a certain amount of time we just looked at each other.

His gaze was incredibly angry and the black eyes underlined that twice. The vein on his forehead stood out and I was pretty sure I didn't want to know what Xavier was thinking.

My gaze slowly went in the fearful direction. I didn't feel good at the sight. There was this inner need to run away. However, my feet had a different opinion and were stuck. Rather, my whole body was immobilized.
