I gasped, crawling back instantly when Heath moved off me and now he was the one screaming.

Ezra must have used the weapon he talked about.Quickly getting up, I dragged my feet back towards Heath who was now whimpering in pain.

"It is messing with your mind.Don't let it manipulate you"

He snarled, hearing my words.

"Your brother loves you.. Nothing has happened between him and your mate.In fact, she is waiting for you.She wants you back"

His response to my words came out in a heart wrenching sob.

"I can help you get back to her.All you need to do is get up and walk out that door.Go be with your mate" I said.He was shaking.

"I can't...It won't let me go" His voice was barely audible, followed by another whimper.

"You can leave.Don't let it take advantage of your fear.That's what making it stronger.Don't fear it, you need to fight it" I tried my best to help him see the truth than believing lies portrayed in his head.He growled, using his energy to get back on his feet
