Chapter 28 The Doll

“Her....mother....” I stood there in shock, if it was hard for me to believe a father could do that to his daughter then it was even harder for me to believe it was her mother. I didn’t even realize I was trembling and growling until Violet broke me from my thoughts.

“Benjamin, get your anger in control.” She said calmly. But I couldn’t, just the fear and pain she must have felt just accelerated my thoughts. Just looking at those ice blue eyes just angered me even more, I wanted to rip them out. I felt myself get spun around and slammed to the ground. “Benjamin!” She said with more force. “Calm down!” Her voice was sharper now, held more authority. Slowly I calmed down, I didn’t realize I had started to shift until my teeth and claws shrank back to normal. After a minute Violet released me and sat back, waiting for me to get up.

“I’m sorry, Beta.” I said as I started to get up. “I shouldn’t have let my emotions get the better of me.” I w
