“Ugh!”
Audrey opened her gapes upon hearing a painful groan underneath her. She was shocked to find Shane laying down on the carpeted floor, with her on top of him. It was an embarrassing position and nothing could make it more awkward when they were seen by a group of maids who hurriedly came to check on them.
She pondered whether to act oblivious or in pain, and she did neither. Audrey jerked herself up but fell again when Shane heaved her down over him.
“Hey, let go of me.” She whimpered and tried to get up once again but only to be dragged down over and over. “This drunkard is so stubborn,” she whispered to herself.<
