It had been two days and Shane couldn’t get any more listless as he waited for his wife to call him again. He couldn’t sleep in excitement while having the thought that Audrey was still willing to give him a chance to fix his mistakes, but failed expectations hurt really badly and he was about to face that reality.

“Are you done now?” Lucy asked the actor who kept tossing and turning himself on the couch while staring at his phone on the center table. “You should be reading your script instead,” the manager added and sighed when the other didn’t seem to hear what she just said.

Thankfully, the meeting with Tiffany went smoothly. Perhaps because Shane was in a good mood and didn’t bother much despite Tiffany’s hostility toward him. The producer of the show ended up not showing up though and for some reason, Shane didn’t mind about it either.
