"I'm sorry, Melanie. I'm so sorry, my Doll,"

Adrian couldn't hold back himself anymore. Her shattered state had stabbed him the most. He hugged her tightly as tightly as possible but she continued to chant her words that she didn't deserve to live because Melanie had lost herself in her agony.

Adrian slightly pulled back and cupped her face tightly.

"No, Melanie. You deserve to live your life, my doll," he uttered. Tears were streaming down from his eyes, nonstop.

"It should be me who doesn't deserve to live,"

She turned into a numb body at his words.

"It should be me who deserves to die after everything I did to you but I can't…" he paused and took his face closer to her.

"Because even after everything, my life is still begging to my fate to live with you . Even after my every sin which I had done to you, this sinner still desires to live with you and to die in your embrace,"

That was it. Those mere couple of words of his and his tears were enough to make Melanie lose everything i
