Chapter 37- Evelyn

Days are passing by like a blur. I am about three months along and swelling like a balloon. It wouldn’t be long before I resemble a whale. It’s getting hard to move around though. My feet keeps swelling like someone is filling them with gas.

Lizzy has ordered everyone not to let me work due to which I have nothing to do all day than eat, sleep and wonder by the woods, which I do by sneaking around. She doesn’t want me to go in the woods…at all.

I still remember the day when I asked Adrian to be the god father. That very night Lizzy had come stomping in my room asking why I haven’t made her their god mother, which Adrian had apparently boosted to her about. I didn’t knew at that point if she would be comfortable with it, so I was a bit nervous to ask her. As she was more than willing, I made her god mother. I don’t know if that’s even possible but if it makes her happy, so be it.
