Chapter 63
Evelyn opened her eyes with a little difficulty but couldn’t see anything at all. Wherever she was, her surroundings were thick with darkness.
‘Why is it so dark in here? Did Danny forgot to turn on the night lamp? Weren’t we in the palace?’ she thought disgruntled from the sleep. ‘I should turn it on first. Aby will get scared if she woke up in the dark.’
