Black Dress
This morning came with a warm sunlight seeping into the room. I didn’t pull my blackout curtain but welcome the day with a big smile. No alarm needed to stir me awake. I didn’t even linger on my bed for long but get up quickly for a good bath. Humming myself while I brush my teeth and swing my towel in a merry dance, then I saunter down into the tub, soaking my body in a fragrance bath. It’s rose bath bomb today with a bubble bar as a companion.
While I enjoy myself with the bath, I put on some groovy music which I sing along to while blowing bubbles into the air. They float, filling every corner of my bathroom, from the ceiling to the floor. Thus, the moment I finish, everything has turned into a massive disaster. But, that is the least of my concern. I yawn when I’ve finally reached the end of the book. I’m done, I think to myself. I turn and look at Cain. He’s still sleeping. I raise my right hand which he’s still holding on to tightly. I smile when I look at our hands are together. After a while, I put our hands down.I wonder what time it is, I think to myself. I take out my phone from my bag. It is six. I’m starving. I think I’ll wake him now. I take a deep breath before I wake him. It’s hard to face him when he’s not wearing his hood. His face always makes my heart races. After dinner, we stroll around the neighborhood. Cain is holding my hand as he walks in front of me. He doesn’t pull his hood up. There are girls that stare at us but he doesn’t seem to be bothered. We keep walking. The clock has pointed at seven fifteen. We don’t have any plan after dinner. However, I don’t feel like going home at all. I still want to be with him. We keep strolling down the street. Suddenly, he stops and turns his back.“Do you want to hang out a little bit more?” He asks. My face brightens up. I nod. He giggles. “Okay. Where do you want to go?” I roll my eyes.“The beach? I’ve never been gone to the beach at night before. I’d like to try it once.” I say. He smiles and strokes my small rosy cheek. Then, he turns around and walks again. I blush. He pulls my hand slowly so I walk beside him. We walk side to side in silence back to Carmelia Street. It only takes us about fifteen minutes.

It’s been a long time since I have a nice sleep. I stretch out my body when my vision has come to focus. I sit up. My eyes are still tired. So, I doze off for a while. Suddenly, my alarm rings startling me. I jump out of my bed. I click my tongue when I realize it’s the alarm.I turn it off then stretch out my hands into the air. After that, I grab my towel and head to my bathroom. I stop when I step into the bathroom. I tilt my body and stare at the clock. It’s seven. I look up. I don’t say anything to him and we continue to walk. We take the small wide staircase in front of his front door. There are two maids and a man wearing a suit standing by the huge glass door.Before I walk towards his door, I turn my back and once again scan at his yard. So, my guess is true. I don’t really pay attention to what’s in front of the fountain. But, I just guess that it is a garden and I’m right. The garden is well-treated and I think I just spot the gardener. Right, let’s keep walking. I turn around and approach Cain who is already waiting for me in front of the door.The man which I mention earlier seems to be a butler? I think. Okay, never mind. I hold on to Cain’s hand. Somehow, I feel nervous. I’m confused when Cain is just standing then I realize, he’s putting his finger on the fingerprint scanner.Hah…. that gets me speechless now. Just what kind of guy am I dating right now? I kind of puzzled.

He puts his hand on it and starts producing a melody. I let out a broad smile as I watch him playing. He looks so handsome when he plays it. A guy playing a white grand piano is always my dream to see it. Guys always prefer guitar or drum. My old friends said that guys who play piano don’t look cool. But, Cain is like the most handsome man in the world right now.I put my fingers back on the keyboard and join him. Our fingers dance together fluently on it. We don’t create a single mistake in playing it. Our duet is kind of a surprise to me. It’s hard to play as a duo when you’ve never played with a partner before. Timing is going to be the first problem and sometimes you just don’t connect with your partner and it’ll ruin your music. I myself have never played with anyone.
