Lucian's POV
When she made it to the front door, her hand grazed the door knob. Just as I was about to turn and leave, she shouted, "Your story telling sucks! Goodnight!"How dare she!?Confident she'd hear me through the door, I shouted back, "Good night, Bella! See you tomorrow morning & don't forget to tell your parents about us!"I then ran away back to the park and swiftly delved behind the greenery, opening a plane to get back home. But in the midst of my travels, something told me to check on my local house. So I did as my instincts told me and went to my house.I found the door ajar and muddy prints leading inside; mud was a pet peeve of mine & I absolutely despised it. Whomever decided to break into my house had a whole 'nother level of fury coming for them.I exited my portal and slowly walked towards the late Georgian-early Victorian era house; it was rare to have a house still standing and originally builtIsabelle's POV Curse you, Lucian! I sighed as I locked the door and headed for the kitchen; I needed water right now."Nice of you to finally show up.""Ah! Don't do that, Dad! You scared me," I said while clutching my shirt tightly."Right. Who was the guy? I heard him shout your name," he said."What are you talking about? You must've been hearing things," I said."Was I? My hearing's great and I'm pretty sure that I heard him say you need to tell us about something. So go ahead, missy," my dad said."But before that, pleas explain why you're here so late on a school night! Young lady, it's almost midnight and you were brought back home by some strange boy! Tell me you didn't give away your innocence," my mom shrieked."Omg! No, I didn't. This is so embarrassing. I'll be an adult after a while and you two still treat me like I'm six. If I ever decide to have sex, mom, then I'll have sex. Quit being so uptight
Isabelle's POV And with that, I stormed off. Or that's what I thought I did before I was violently snatched and turned around."What's your deal?" I shrieked. But he didn't answer me. He only dragged me outside to my favorite spot to hide."Why won't you answer me? Let go of me!""There," he said after letting go of my arm, "Now what the fuck are you talking about? That was before you and it didn't even mean anything. If it had meant anything, I would've felt guilty and told you about it way sooner. Also, I was sworn to secrecy that next morning," he explained."Either way, both of you can stay away from me. Sworn to secrecy or not, someone should've told me. I don't want my best friend's leftovers! That's disgusting. I trusted you and you hid something like that from me," I replied, "It's kinda sad that you two hid that from me. With me being close to death and all, I at least thought you two would tell me the truth. Were you e
Isabelle's POV Brad abruptly asked, "Did you know she was sleeping around on me?""What? No! That's preposterous. I still don't believe that Jen committed such an act," I said."You don't believe it, but you know she slept with Jason back in April? How come you don't believe it when it's right in front of your face? You're really naive to be so smart, Bella. Get lost," he said in an angry tone."Okay, angry pants. Thanks for the Ted talk," I said in a sarcastic way.I tossed him my deuces as I heard the low whistles from other athletes. That damn Jen! She sure knew how to conjure up mess.I went back to find Jason, but he wasn't there anymore. Entering the building once again, I decided to visit the bathroom that no one ever goes to— the one by Mr. Luis' classroom.I barged into the bathroom only to be stunned; they gasped as I made my entrance. "Well.. I didn't mean to interrupt. Go ahead & keep smooching," I
Isabelle's POV I was late. Of course, it was to be expected, but I never knew I was that late. I didn't even hear the bell ring for second period. I walked into Ms. Ligher's English class and all eyes were on me. I hated that. Why can't someone just walk in and not be stared at by the entire class? It's so awkward. "Nice of you to join us, Miss. Smith," she said to me as I walked toward her with my tardy slip."I know right. Had a rough morning, Ms Ligher," I emphasized the Miss just as she did. "Hmph," she blew a breath out of her nose, "Have a seat, please.""I was about to. Did you want me to stand?" I snapped."I don't know what's gotten into you, but I will send you to the office," she threatened."Look, lady, today isn't my best day. Don't test me," I warned her as I sat down. She didn't say anything else, but cleared her throat instead and decided to move on with the lesson at hand. Apparent
Isabelle's POV "Go out with you?" I repeated after him."Yes. That's what I said."I burst into sudden laughter, "Now why would I do that?""I'd be the very best thing that ever happened to you. I could show you fun and take you around the world; show you things you never thought existed. I could blow your mind," he pitched."I'd never go out with you. You're a rude asshole who's constantly judging me. Not to mention, you have stalker tendencies and you're crazy.""I've never stalked you a day in my life," he defended."Oh yeah? Explain this. You followed me into the girls restroom because you wanted an apology. You're self-centered! You've been to my house multiple times, you've kidnapped me, you've been inside of my house when I've woken up! As a Matter of fact, you've been in front of my face when I e woken up twice! There's so much more! Please, explain that to me, Lucian because I'd love to hear an amazing explanation f
Isabelle's POV "They're by the corner wall. I'm sure they're waiting for you," Maggie said pointing in the direction to my hind left."They?" I questioned."Yeah. I'm pretty sure they were looking for you earlier. Right, Tina?"Tina replied, "Well.. yeah.""Now run along," Maggie said, "I'd hate to ruin your night by bickering with you.""Thanks. That's so nice of you," I mocked. I didn't care about anything that she wanted to say afterwards. I was determined to have fun with my friend tonight.. and whomever she was with, since they couldn't have been apart of the cheer squad.Walking in the direction Maggie point me toward, I bumped into the usual couples who were swapping saliva like there was no tomorrow & the other usual people who were grinding upon each other like it was the only thing keeping them from ripping each other's clothes off. It was disgusting."Get a room, people," I said."Get some c
"If you're the devil, then what the hell is going on? You have hell hounds running around. Oh my god, I just kissed the devil! My life is ruined.. You're going to make my life a living hell, aren't you? Not that you haven't been doing that already," Isabelle rambled.Lucian only laughed at her. She shot him daggers and he toned it down a tad; he bent down and the hound wagged its tail before stopping in front of Lucian. Isabelle could feel the heat emanating from the hound; it felt like she was the one on fire. She rubbed her leg and retreated by a few steps away from the creatures of hell."Probably should have told you to stand back; the heat from them would usually kill your kind, but you're different," he said to her."I knew you were the devil all this time. You and that psychopath with the scythe talking about me dying all the time. It's insane and unbelievable, but I know I'm different," Isabelle said."Good. Then I won't have to
Isabelle's POV "You want to what?" I asked."Are you deaf? Or did you actually not hear me?""I think I heard you, but I want you to repeat it just in case I didn't hear you correctly," I said in shock. He seemed fed up with me already. "You heard me correctly. Now let's go.""You asshole! Do you expect for me to just up and leave with you?""I do actually. If you don't come now, you'll come later. Guaranteed," he stated cockily."Go to hell," I spat."Oh, we're going."I wasn't gonna go. I'd never go with him. That's what I said. I wasn't going to go back on my word. That was five months ago. FIVE MONTHS!! I had my mind set that I'd never go anywhere with that egotistical asshole, but I did. And everyday, I saw the reason why I should've never changed my mind. I actually don't know what changed my mind, and even if I did know, I just couldn't see myself coming to terms with it.Hell
