"Anthony!" I called after him but he didn't bother looking back at me or stopping.

I stared at his retreating figure till he disappeared down the hall and I sighed.

'Now you've pissed him off' my subconscious reprimanded.

"But then again, it’s not like I was wrong-" I scoffed only to realize I was talking to myself.

Huffing, I went back to the pool area to get my laptop but I didn't find it. I asked all the guards and staff if they had seen it and all of them gave me same answer, 'NO'

I kept searching and searching till my mind drifted to that one human being who was most likely having it.

Annoyed as to why he would walk out on me earlier and still have the guts to take my things, I marched to his room but it was empty so I went to the next possible place he could be, his office.
