Could this day get any more dramatic, or worse?

I already parted my lips and started to spring apart from Ferrara, prepared to explain to my son that this didn't mean anything when I was pulled closer to a muscled body, and Ferrara spoke,

"Oh yes, we wanted to keep it a surprise, little man. But you caught us."

I widened my eyes to tell him off when he leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on my forehead, a knowing smile on his lips.

"Sweetheart, our son is happy now that we are together again, isn't he?"

I clenched my fists, too bad I couldn't punch him where the sun didn't shine in front of our kid.

Our innocent baby boy smiled and rushed towards us, looking so dashing in his school uniform.
