Emilia's POV.

Four salons later and I am still unemployed. My skills were certainly not the reason I remained unemployed. I think it has more to do with the two big burly men who have been following me around, refusing to leave my side for one second. Also once they figure out that I am married to the don of the Italian mafia, they just seem to withdraw. I mean I get it. Who wants to hire the wife of a Cartel boss in his/her shop?

"So what? You are just going to give up like that?" Riley asked.

We were at a coffee shop that was close to Riley's store. I was in the area so I just decided to grab coffee with her and chat.

I shrugged. "It is understandable really. I wouldn't hire me either if I were them."

"And those two..." I said pointing at the two bodyguards I chose myself. "Those two right there are enough reason for anyone not to hire me."

"It is their loss then. You are very talented."
