The moment I received Dakota's phone call, I knew something was wrong. She had assured me that everything was fine, but I was restless. Therefore, I adjourned the meeting and hurried out of my office. I was heading into the elevator when I got her text, which indicated that she was heading to 'Landon's home'. Right then, I knew that something unpleasant was about to happen. Since I didn't know where 'Landon's home' was, I called West and asked him to find out where the location was.

So, here I am, sitting in the driver's seat of my car, awaiting West's phone call. I'm so anxious, I've been unable to stop tapping my foot on the floor of my car. It's been ten minutes since I called West, but it feels like an eternity.

I can't help but worry about my mate. I hope she's alright. There's a chance that I might be wrong about her being in trouble. But my instincts are way too strong for me to ignore. I have to make sure Kota's safe.
