Lola turned to face Lucas with a deep frown of concern marring her features. She is worried about Sandra and her baby. Now she has to stop Lucas from destroying the palace and killing the people she cares about. Lola stood on her tiptoes and held his face in between her small soft palms. Lucas averted his gaze from the burning ballroom towards his mate.

"Please stop" she whispered just before she touched his lips with hers. She kissed him softly with her lips. She didn't deepen the kiss and neither did he. She wanted him to stop this. Even though he is doing all of this because they humiliated her in the worst way possible, no one deserves a death sentence for that. He punished them enough. Innocent people like Sandra and Dillon are suffering as well.
