Chapter Thirty Nine

Alyssa paused her steps, her face heated up recalling yesterday's incident. Great, just great. She forgot to think about the first word to tell Quinn if she sees him.

Feeling the intense stare at his back, he turned towards Alyssa waving her over with a smile.

“ These butterflies! ” Quinn wasn't wearing a business suit but rather a wooly sweater and a pair of pants. He looked simple yet gorgeous. His choice of sweater coincidentally matched with her gown.

“ Morning love. Did you sleep well enough?” He pulled her into a quick hug before opening the passenger door for her.

Alyssa blushes at his endearment. She nodded bashfully before slipping in the car.

His lips curled into an amused grin. He went over to the driver's seat and started the engine.

‘‘ You will drive?” She gave him a strange look.

“ How come you haven't grown used to it? Let me be your driver for today ” He brought her hand close to his lips kissing each of her five fingers.
