Chapter 92
Getting out of the shower, I heard voices talking in a hushed tone. I just rolled my eyes and started to get dressed. I am super excited for this, though! I have no idea what this could be. A trip? I could defiantly use a vacation after all this. I still had the bad feeling so I knew something was still going to happen but I wasn’t sure what. My guard was up and I was extra jumpy as I waited for it to finally reveal itself.
After getting dressed in shorts, a t-shirt and letting my hair air dry down for once, I walked out to the living room. The boys were huddled up against the table and Kelly was scowling off to the side, glaring at them.
“What’s up?” I asked plopping down next to her
“Stupid ass boys won’t tell me a fucking thing!”
“IT IS FOR YOU TOO!” Reed yelled.
“I DON’T GIVE A FUCK!” Kelly responded
“Okay, so how are those mood swings coming along?” I asked Kelly. I saw Wyatt smirk and Reed tried his hardest to cover up a smile.

I hardly slept at all these last few nights. Today I will become queen. Today my life will change and everyone will look towards me for answers. Walking in, I saw two men and a woman standing off to the right laughing together. One was shorter, grey hair, full beard and looked to be around 65. The second man was taller, around 6 foot, brown hair with grey peppered in there and wrinkles covering his face. He looked to be older, around 70 years old. “Nina! It is time!” Autumn called from behind me. I was standing in front of a long mirror, trying to recognize myself. My hair was flawless pulled to the side and braided. Loose curly strands of hair framed my face and neck. The makeup was light and elegant with a little more dramatic eyeliner. Nude covered my lips, fingertips and toes. The shoes matched my jewelry perfectly. The girls had placed a shimmering lotion on my arms, chest and back making me slightly sparkly when the light hits my skin. As soon as the words were out of her mouth, a gun went off and I felt it coming straight for my heart. It was like the world slowed down and everything was in slow motion. The room was filled with shocked and scared expressions but my focus was the bullet. As it inched closer, I felt this internal need to protect my baby. The only problem was, I didn’t know how.
