“Are you and the king planning something? You two seem to be in sync lately.” Niko joked cuddling close to me in the bed.
“Did you tell them?” I asked as my eyes fell towards my stomach.
“No, they may know, vampire hearing is just as good as wolves. I only told them you passed out.” His eyes told me he wanted an explanation.
“I think that is what happened. I really didn’t get much except for his name, my ‘true name’ he called it, and a warning to be careful of the vampires. Oh, and the badass angels are going to leave us alone for now.” I summarized everything I could.

Veronica POV Nikola took me back to our room. The brief interaction we had with Theo proved that keeping this baby a secret with many vampires around would be near impossible.
