Chapter 34- Hopeless ?

Amberleigh felt as though she closed her eyes and two weeks had passed when she opened them again. They were on the cusp of April. The days often rainy, the nights shorter, as sunlight held its grasp over the world a bit longer, helping to keep the darkness at bay.

Love was in the air indeed, perhaps leading to a new crop of life by next spring. Though Amber couldn’t exactly say that Ash and Ebony’s budding relationship was love, it certainly had potential. Ebony told Amber all about the great sex and Amber lived vicariously through her friend. Just the fact Ebony kept wanting to get more of that ginger fix over and over, said a lot. These days the dark diva had become more of a hit it and quit it type of girl. But Ebony kept letting her garden be watered by the same hose.

Speaking of gardens, Amber’s was even more beautiful than ever before. She and Leo often took sunset strolls through its paths, usually making some new breathtaking discovery along the way. Both her tummy and her lo
