Chapter 13

After several hours of being tied to a cart. They all gained back their consciousness. None of them were able to know the hours they had passed out. One of the guards was able to cut himself loose. He then loosed others.

They all thought of going after the deserters who kidnapped the princess but it would be deadly. No water and food to sustain them and they don't even know how far they had gone with Princess Diana. "I don't think it is good for us to go after the deserters. We have to find a way to save those who are injured before they bleed to death." Chief Madu told others. An hour later they walked into the dark, silent dunes.

Chief Madu was not the sort of person to doubt himself. But now that he was out in the desert without Princess Diana by his side, He realized how foolish he had been. The Abasia Kingdom was to the east of the Daila Kingdom mountain. But simply plodding towards the rising sun was no way to get through hundreds of miles of shifting sand.
