There was a brief break in the fighting. The leader of the fighters is down already. Several of the Flighters are already hanging back, not all that are interested in risking their lives. But few are still committed, charging forward. King Abasiama, the guards, and other people of Abasia Kingdom were still on the field fighting the Flighters. The population of the Flighters seemed to be increasing. It was like knock one out, get two new Flighters to fight. They are all tried but can't stop fighting. After several hours of fighting, the population of the Flighters started reducing exponentially. The Flighters seemed to begin to run into jungles. Their numbers had greatly reduced. Abasia Kingdom's people are winning. Before it was two Flighters against one guard. But now the reverse is the case, it is now two guards against one Flighter. A lot of the Flighters are down. Most of them are seriously wounded, while some had run for their life. Only a few still remain. Princess Diana saw
Princess went straight to her room, and so do other members of the family. The king was still outside trying to put everything back to normal. The Abasia Kingdom is not too big and developed as it is now, and was somehow quite easy to coordinate. King Abasiama together with his guards and other members of the kingdom who suffers no injury were moving those people who go injured or got wounded during the attack to the Infirmary for treatment. That continued till everywhere was dark. The king had ordered the medical team to go to every doorstep of the kingdom to check on them and administer medication to the injured people. Most people bruise or lacerations but felt people in severe conditions should be taken care of first. He ordered that just to ensure everyone's health is restored. Not only that he ordered just the medical team but also the chief in charge of food production and farming activities of the kingdom to give, fruits, Vegetables, and other things to the people from the
The next day everything in Abasia Kingdom seemed to have gone back to normal. No one had been killed in the Flighters attack. There were bruises and concussion and a broken bone or two, but nothing more serious. And the Flighters too had melted back into the woods, dragging away their causalities. Those that were captured were locked up in the prison. They have no choice but to face the tribunal. But to the impact made by Princess Diana, the punishment for any Flighters has been limited to hard labor. No more execution of the Flighters. The medical team did as ordered by the King. Medical treatments were administered to the people in the kingdom. Even those that look healthy were all given multivitamin drugs and herbs. Princess Diana went to school, just like every other in the kingdom. At school, no one mentioned the attack. But there was a look on the people's faces. Everyone knew that Princess Diana's leadership and quick thinking had saved the day for the people of the kingdom.
After the long conversation with her father, Princess Diana felt her head spinning. Travelers. Flumes. Time travel. Saint Dane. Leadership. Responsibility. The savior. The whole thing was completely, utterly unbelievable, and could not understand all that. For fourteen years she had been told nothing. And now all of a sudden, this. It seemed like just another fairy story designed to obscure the truth. She didn't say anything in response to what her father had been saying since. During the conversation with her father, she could remember that her father said some things to her. He said, "You belong to the gods, you have inherited divine qualities. Your premortal experiences prepared you for mortality, where you continue to learn and grow. A mission is a wonderful opportunity to continue developing and magnifying your divine characteristics because you are the savior of this kingdom. You are the promised child, the only child born on the night of Hitah in this century, the night ch
"Now that Princess Diana is back, I believe things will return to normal for us in this kingdom. Her absence hurt everyone. It affected every of this kingdom. In one way or the other m, everyone could feel her absence. Thanks to the gods that she is back safe and healthy." Jacquard said to his twin brother, Jack. "Yeah, she is back. What did you want me to gain from that." Jack said briskly. "Ohhh! Really! Her absence does not have to affect you and you are idle. You have nowhere to go. She left the kingdom and a few days after you lost your job. No, you are working as a guard whose earnings are nothing to reckon with. You to wake up and stop all this. If it is envy, you should stop. If it is you like her, then you approach her and tell her your mind, after all, she is free with everyone and approachable. Just tell her your mind and how you feel about her, you might be lucky. It is better than you sitting here and starting badmouthing people." Jacquard said angrily. " I don't get
Jacquard work up very early the following morning. He had his bath, get dressed, and was about to leave for work. Jacquard had already left his previous job where he works as a translator. He had secured a new job. He is now working as a Librarian in the ancient library of Abasia Kingdom. The library was constructed after the attack of Flighters which caused the tunnel in the mountain to collapse where everything about Abasia Kingdom was years back. The documents, ancient books, history, artworks, like drawings, paintings, artifacts, and a lot more were all transferred from the rock to the newly built Library. He went straight to his twin brother's room, Jack, to wake him up. " It is late already. Get up from that bed of yours and get dressed for work. Or you have decided that you are not going to the brewery today?"" Yeah. You get it." Jack replied, rolling around his bed. "I am not going today. Good morning Jacquard. You can come in. The door is not locked." He said. " Look at
Curiosity. Orderliness. A passion for understanding." Jacquard looked around at his students. " To become a great librarian, you must have a passion and a sense of mission. Because you will have to confront extraordinary challenges, challenges which-" Jay Oh, one of the top students- but also one of his most disruptive kids- interrupted." Yeah, like trying to be bored to death!" Jacquard frowned. " Now, come on, Jay oh. I am making a serious point here. Why are you disrupting the class?" He asked. He tried to look as stern as he could. But the truth was, he sometimes wondered if Jay oh was not right. Jacquard loved teaching, loved working as s researcher in the world's most important library. And yet sometimes he wondered- was this it? Was this all he had been put on earth to do? He was good at his job. Very good. But sometimes it seems like poking around full of ancient facts and figures- or teaching young people how to poke around any instrument available within the facility-
Jacquard walked slowly down the hallway to the staircase. The director's office is on the fourth floor while his office is on the second floor. They rushed down the staircase to the classroom because it was almost time for the class kick-off. The kids had already arrived. They were singing and drumming. The noise was getting louder, disturbing the whole building. He had been teaching since he stopped working as a translator a few years back. He really loves the job, translating any written words to English, so that they can be read by everyone or whosoever. He was so good and versed with it, but always had problems with his Superiors. Maybe they were all scared that he would take their position one day because he was so exceptional. No matter the language any words, he would identify them and still them perfectly. Any task they found so difficult was always a thing to play with for him. His Superiors not only get jealous of him but also do everything possible to keep him unknown to t
