The following morning he left home as usual, he did not even inform her mother about what happened in the office and about his resignation. He was able to escape that just because his mother together with his uncle, Siyabong, both traveled to attend to some things in a nearby village. They were unable to return home that day. It was only Jack and Jacquard that were in the house.

Both of them just ate whatever they met in the Kitchen and went straight to bed.

Jacquard feelings were ambivalent. He felt happy and relieved because he believed he is free and out of bondage. He is no more surrounded by the set of people who always and will always pray for his downfall. He also felt bad about how he left the job. It was not in a good term. But above all, he was happy to be free.

He thought about what is going to be his next move. He can't just sit down doing nothing. Even the law of the land won't allow him to stay indoors for too long except if he was sick or suffered from a terrible illn
