17. Jason

Jason's eyes was engulfed with regrets, he wasn't a man that entertained regrets often but today was such an unfortunate day. It seems like, life was taking new turns for him. He got himself a wife now he was going to loose one of his trusted subordinate.

"What a waste" He thought as he shut his eyes. 

Recalling the sight of that young Hardy who stole his wallet and took to his feet in a hurry, but like the gangster Jason was, four quick long step after the teenager he caught him and smashed him on the ground. 

Such an encounter it was, one that had brought so much luck for him. He saw himself in young Hardy, and for that reason he made sure he never lacked anything. He made sure he wasn't bullied or got stepped on by his ferocious grandmother, and blood yearning step grandfather.

He never knew that amongst all the enemy he had to worry about there was Hardy as well, one that swore he had pledged his complete loyalty
