Chapter Thirty-Four

Her mind telling her that Lucas would have informed her if something bad happened but there was no harm in check by herself to make sure everything was good even if she dreaded to hear the news.

Jessica went through the channels on the TV switching from channel to another but nothing.

The news was all about other matters, not a single station talked about the huge scandal that happened few days ago. She pressed her lips before turning off the TV and tossing the remote away. Picking up on her nails again she walked towards the small table fetching a paper but she couldn’t find any.

Lucas must have ordered his man not to leave a single paper around. After over thinking and walking in circles for almost an hour, she gave up and went to the kitchen.
