As I awoke, I saw that my side was already empty. Gavin was nowhere to be found.

A faint grin appeared on my lips as I sighed in relief. My smile quickly faded when I heard my phone ring.

As I looked over at the desk, I saw that my phone was continually ringing. I sprang out of bed and grabbed it.

As I dropped my head to examine the caller ID, the number was unknown.

I answered the phone, worried that it was from someone important. "Hello?"

I was so frightened that I burst out laughing.

"It's me, Gavin. Get dressed as soon as possible. We're going on a tour." His tone had returned to his customary authoritative tone.

I looked at the time and noticed that it was already three o'clock in the afternoon.
