Casting one last look at Leon, she suppressed her sorrow and walked out of the room dazedly.

As she was leaving, Leon recalled something and called out to her. "Renee, wait!"

"What? What else do you need?" Renee stopped and turned around to look at him with tears in her eyes.

Tears scrolled down her cheeks and dripped onto the cold floor.

"Renee, why are you doing this to yourself? With your beauty and status, you'll surely find someone better than me," Leon felt bad for her and sighed, before consoling her.

"That's easy for you to say," Renee said bitterly.

Not only was Leon brilliant, but he was also formidable despite his young age. His ability was unmatched amongst those his age and it would be impossible for him to find someone as great as he was.

On top of that, timing was most important when it came to love and it was never a matter of who was better.
