Caleb frowned, again finding that this woman’s lips were truly shut tighter than a clamshell.

“Hmm.”

Penny let out a sigh of relief, moved that he was not deliberately making things difficult for her.

“Okay, I’ll be here on time.”

After spraying the pain relief spray, her ankle got some relief. She then lowered her head, organized the medical kit, and put it back into the entryway cabinet.

When closing the door, she spoke again.

“Mr. Fergerson, you should rest early.”

Caleb’s face instantly turned colder, an unclear feeling brewing within him.

It was suffocating and uncomfortable.

He untied his tie, as if this unexplainable emotion would dissipate substantially that way.

However, the act of untying his tie caused pain in his injured hand, making him wince slightly.

She was just a woman he was not too familiar with.

There was no need to care.

Penny did not concern herself with what Caleb thought. She was in a hurry to deal with Uncle Leo’s affairs in Union County.
