Chapter 35 You Don't Work Here Anymore

Penny got into the car with a heavy heart. It took her twenty minutes to arrive at the Fergerson Estate.

A servant opened the door. Her eyebrows were furrowed with displeasure when she saw Penny.

“Ms. Sullivan, what are you doing here? Ma'am isn’t here.”

Penny saw that there was no one in the hall except for the servants who were cleaning.

She looked up and wanted to ask if Caleb was here, but the servant had already turned around impatiently.

‘It makes sense that she’s acting like that. Aurelia Bailey has never acted friendly toward me every time she comes here. She’s clever and knows that I’ll be divorced sooner or later, so she doesn't even bother to act polite.’

Someone opened the entrance to the garden. A beautiful girl stood there, chuckled, and said, “Is she the new caretaker? She’s quite pretty.”
