Chapter 65 She Was Trying To Poison The Well

As soon as Penny stepped inside, she heard a dog barking and saw a snow-white figure running toward her from afar before circling her excitedly.

Penny looked down and patted his head.

"Nani, have you been a good girl while I was away?"

Lucy Crawford came out from inside the house wearing an apron. She looked about 50 years old and was gentle and honest.

"Ms. Sullivan, Nani has been naughty when you weren't around. She caught all the fish in the fish pond, so I had to debone and cook all of them."

Penny thought it was hilarious and rubbed Nani's head harder. "Why are you such a glutton?"

Nani was a German Shepherd that was about six years old. She had been with Penny for as long as she could remember.

Penny could not keep Nani in her apartment, and coincidentally, Sir Fergerson gave her the villa as a gift. She rarely came here on weekdays, so she asked Aunt Lucy to help take care of Nani.

She played with Nani for a while before she dragged her luggage into the living room.
