Chapter 11

I looked out the window, seeing the skies, it was fantastic. I sighed as my mind wandered off to Carrie again.

I hope nothing bad happens to her while I was gone. And I hope she called me and tell me she is okay.

What if she calls me now? She wouldn't be able to reach me!

"what are you so hyped up about," he asked. What did he mean? Oh yeah, I was probably hyped.

"When are we coming back?" I asked.

"as soon as I am done with the contract," he replied.

"When is that?"

"next week," he said and my heart jumped. I can't be gone for a week.

Layla. I internally cried.

"why?"

"n-nothing," I replied almost immediately.

I looked out the window again. Praying nothing bad would happen and everything was going to go just fine.

I slept off.

I woke up when someone nudged my shoulders.

I slowly turned my head to see a lady, Xavier wasn't there. Where could he be?

"we've reached ma'am." the steward said. Ah. So he left. One minute it seems he cares for you and the other he doesn't seem to care
