I felt immense pain in my body like a bus had crushed me under it, from my head to toe. I tried to move my hands but I couldn’t do it, my head felt heavy and it was throbbing. I could hear smell of medicine and beeping sound of the machines. I tried to remember what exactly happened and I recalled everything.

My cab was hit by another vehicle, immense pain and then complete darkness. I tried to open my eyes but closed them immediately when lights hurt them. I heard Xavier’s voice as mere whisper.

“I think we should call the doctors now. Why isn’t she waking up?” I heard his impatient voice and I felt relieved, my husband was there. I could smell my mother’s perfume. She’s also here.
