Shane’s POV

I felt like something heavy is wedging in my arms, I want to restrain myself from it but I find it hard to move. After few tries, I can finally able to open my eyes but closed them again when the overwhelming brightness coming outside the window met my gaze.

The heaviness in my arms started to lighten, “Shane?” I heard a voice called my name.

“Omg, Shane. I’m sorry, I fell asleep on your arms!” The same voice exclaimed. So that’s why I felt like it’s heavy? Shit.

A sigh escaped from her. “Why am I even apologizing? It’s not like you can hear me,” she said.

I smiled flashed on my face after finally recognizing who she is.
