138. No Hard Feelings

LEO POV

It was late when I arrived at the villa. I stepped into the house and went straight to the bedroom where I found Emily reading a novel. She had her legs crossed while lying on the bed which made it obvious that she struck that pose after she knew that I was in the building. I smiled then sat at the edge of the bed.

"Are you mad at me?" I asked but got no reply. She was ignoring me.

"I didn't mean to skip breakfast. It was an urgent call," I explained but she still would not reply me. I stood from the edge of the bed and strutted to her side. I sat beside her but she flinched.

"Just hit me already. Smack my face. Punch my stomach. Do whatever to abate your anger but don't ignore me," I said, grabbing her hand and placing it on my chest. She withdrew then looked me in the eye.

"Do I even mean anything to you anymore? Recently, I've been staying around the house, doing nothing most of the time because you tell me not to go out everytime. Then there's a whole lot of bodyguards ou
