His heart was beating erratically in his chest, threatening to burst out anytime from his chest due to the unparalleled fear that was coursing through his veins as he heard sounds of approaching footsteps. With his head bowed low and his eyes clutched shut tightly, Hunter felt his knees tremble from the heavy and tense atmosphere in the room as the sound of the footsteps got closer.

"I have told you already, I will wake them up with magic if they are yet to be awake, but I must warn you, it might have adverse effect on their minds," Davina said.
