"Okay, what is it, and it better not be cute," he said.

"Husbandly. You look like a very devoted husband who is cooking for his wife" she said.

He smiled and muttered under his breath, you would be so disappointed when you taste my food, I wouldn't look so devoted then.

"Did you say something? I couldn't hear you", she said.

"Nah, I didn't say anything" he replied then he offered a silent prayer to the Moon goddess to save him just this once as they both walked into his kitchen

"Okay, so how long do I have to wait for the pasta to get ready? I didn't eat lunch because I wanted to have enough space for your food" she said to him as she sat on top of the counter because there were no seats around.
