I whipped my head around to see Lola standing at the entrance of the kitchen. She had a glass of wine in her hand and her hair was flawless, as usual. She stood there like a contestant in a pageantry waiting to be called, before sauntering into the kitchen.

Alianna quickly busied herself with baking the snacks and doing other things, while I sat back down on my chair because I knew that it was going to be a long talk between us.

Was she even a monitoring spirit? How had she known where to find me this hot afternoon? Besides, I thought that she would be in the ICU after that Oscar-worthy stunt that she pulled at the dining. I never knew that she would still be able to walk. I really thought that she suddenly got crippled.
