* * * Eve’s POV * * * The guard sounds nervous, and the men holding the weapons are shaking like leaves in a tree on a stormy day. I can feel Max’s tension building as his frustration increases. * * * Eve’s POV * * * I can feel Max becoming overwhelmed, and while I’m positive that Harrison didn’t run from Max, it still feels like abandonment to Max.
