While Eva was chatting with her grandfather, Max and Mia were enjoying their food in the dining room.

They had been out all afternoon and had missed their mealtime, which was why they were feeling ravenous.

Eugene kept reminding them, “Eat slower. Be careful. You wouldn't want to choke."

The little ones were getting to know their grandfather better, and their attitudes toward him were friendlier than before.

"Don’t forget how Wanda Emerson humiliated you. There’s also your wonderful daughter who brought two rich men to our house to insult us, yet you’re here happily taking care of these two little bastards!”
