I was excited for Alpha to start the random attacks on the guards that would be guarding the pack and the goal was to make sure they would get injured in a way that it would take them months to heal and recover before they return to position. Selena's POVSoon, it was dark and I and Lily were both waiting for Laisha to show up with the plan that she promised to bring by night time and it was already past dinner time which meant she was supposed to be on her way already. Selena’s POVIt felt like the days were moving even faster than they were and it wasn’t a bad thing for me, it only meant we were going to get our mission over with faster and Raymond was finally going to be out of the picture while the pack would be restored back to the way it was but a part of me was getting nervous and I knew it wasn’t like me. I was always the brave one who takes the first step and gets into most missions before thinking it through but now, I was getting scared before we even started anything and I knew just why.This time, I had someone to lose and I was scared of losing him. What I had with Raymond was never going to last but I could see myself spending many days with Alpha once we were through with this mission but that could only happen if he stayed alive and didn’t get hurt until the end of everything for me… for the two of us because it would all seem futile if anything bad happened to him and I ended up losing him. Selena’s POVI was excited and I couldn’t deny that but a part of me was still anxious and I knew it was because I hadn't seen Alpha yet to be sure that he was completely fine. I still couldn’t stop smiling though and it was because I knew that Alpha succeeded and didn't get hurt in the course of the attack. After all, they didn't get any of them and knowing that he was fine was another reason to be so happy but I still wanted to see him.Also, in a matter of time, it wasn’t going to be too long until we would be able to retrieve the pack from Raymond… Once we had weakened the pack’s security, it was going to be easy to defeat him and it was only a matter of time before that happened, it didn’t seem so far away anymore. Selena’s POVAfter eating, we finally began our discussion about the next plan that we had to work on immediately before Raymond would be able to get new soldiers because that was just going to make our effort be in vain and we would have to start all over again. “So what next Alpha, are we doing anything this time or will it just be you and the soldiers?” Lily asked Alpha and he sighed before he wrapped his arms around my waist since I was still sitting on his thighs and he was silent for a while, like he was deep in thought before he finally spoke.“I want us to get the random attacks over with quickly and from my calculation, three attacks would do it to weaken the palace’s security so we have two more attacks to carry out before the big one” he said then he averted his gaze from where he was staring into space and looked at Lily.“The next attack is going to be tonight again.
