Chapter 9

HAWTHORNE STOPPED WALKING when he saw Nina on the balcony, he approached her quietly and the first thing that grabbed his attention was her thin and tempting dress.

Nina's beautiful body was visible in that dress and he can see that she doesn't have anything except for that. Her sweet scent filled his nostrils.

He swallowed hard, struggling to resist the heat even though it gradually blinded him.

Hayes cleared his throat to inform her about his presence.

"Can't sleep, miss Gabriel?"

She turned to him with a smile, he knew she was not doing that on purpose but he still felt like she was seducing him. The breeze blew her hair gently and her eyes reflected the moon.

He immediately averted his eyes, she seemed like a very delicious food but was forbidden for his health.

To hell with my health. Hawthorne cursed.

"This place is so beautiful. The moon is so beautiful too, so how can I sleep? I don't want to miss this because I don't know if I'll be given another chance to witness this again.
