Sunday night came quicker than I wanted. I hadn’t seen Lex or Randolph all day. Randolph had left last night after our discussion. We explained what happened at Gunny’s house, every detail.
Lex was shocked when I told him about my visit from Goddess Luna. He couldn’t deny what happened. I felt his heart sting hearing that I wanted him to share me. He asked how we expected it to work. Randolph and I had no answers or suggestions. We all agreed to take the night to process and talk Sunday.
I fell asleep in my office. When I woke up and went to our room, Lex was already gone. I felt guilty. I did not want him to think I was avoiding him. I sent him a text telling him I would be in the herb garden, but he never showed.
The sun began to set, I had not seen either of them. I was afraid that Lex decided to challenge Randolph after all. I don’t think Randy would be willing to fight him. He knows the pain it would cause me.
