“My prince, please let me remind you,” Serlon sighed, “With your wound, it’s better to control your anger. My herbs won’t do much if you continue to let the wound open.”

Thorn sat down on the chair like a balloon with no air, exhausted. He couldn’t hold it anymore. “Give me more of your herbs, now.”

Serlon touched Thorn’s forehead and found that it was ice cold. He quickly fetched the herbs and spread them on the bloody injury in a thick layer. Hugo watched his prince and quietly worried. “I’ll make sure the guys keep a closer eye on Leila, if that’s what you’re worried about.”

Hugo had always understood Thorn without the need to say anything out in the open. Thorn nodded. He was feeling better with the help of the herbs. “Also, arrange some men to hide in the shadows. It won’t be easy for enemies to detect them either.”
