Thomas:

I paced around my apartment as Kiara’s words played in my mind. The fact that I had hurt her enough to have such an outburst broke me a lot more than I could think of admitting. The way she looked at me, the way her eyes met mine as if she felt like everything she’s dreamed about was broken by me. It hurt me a lot that I was the reason of her feeling this much pain. Even more knowing that I had done it purposely. Having kissed her didn’t make things any better either. Especially since this was technically our first kiss.

Running my fingers through my hair, I dialed her number to try and call her. However, I was instantly directed to voicemail. She got in the bus almost an hour ago, she should’ve reached her house by now, the time of night is what worried me about her getting on the bus.
