Beta Hogan read the letter for the umpteenth time. David had sent a letter to Alpha Murphy, but Beta Hogan had received it, and seeing that the sender was David, his curiosity took the best of him.

"This is going to be concise. My name is David, and I was Blair's ex-boyfriend. She broke up with me because of my toxic attitude toward her even though she loved and cared for me.
