Chapter 14

Sassy got to the orphanage and locked herself inside her room. She decided to leave the orphanage now, as she had gotten a little savings. She wouldn't be happy living there again. But before she did that, She first of all went to take her bath as she smelled like Alpha Murphy. When she took off her clothes, she realized her bruises had healed.

"Sage, what happened here?" She asked.

"The mate bond has been severed. There's no link between you two anymore." Sage responded.

Sassy was glad that Sage sounded so alive again. She was also glad there was no link between her and Alpha Murphy any longer.

After taking her bath, she walked out of the bathroom and she realized her phone had been ringing.

Only two people had her contact, and those two people were Delight and the Matron. She picked up the phone and it was the matron.

The matron had taken a one-week break to go home, leaving the assistant matron in charge.

"Hello, Sassy." The matron's voice said over the phone.

"Hello Matron," Sass
